Karan Kundra finally addresses breakup rumours with GF Anusha Dandekar
The year 2020 already seems to not be a great one for various reasons. Why do we say this? As apart from the COVID-19 outbreak, another thing which has set several tongues wagging is breakup reports of our favourite couples from the telly world. From Rithvik Dhanjani-Asha Negi’s deciding to go their separate ways after dating for six years to Karan Kundra and Anusha Dandekar’s relationship going kaput, it’s indeed shocking to hear such scoops.
Last week, multiple reports were doing rounds that television’s IT couple, Karan and Anusha had parted ways. According to gossipmongers, the Love School couple, who dated for more than four years, apparently had some trouble in their paradise and are not staying together lately. The couple had not posted pictures or videos with each other since February 2020, adding fuel to those rumours.
While earlier Anusha had reacted to the reports, now, Karan has opened up on the same. The Dil Hi Toh Hai actor revealed how just because the two are staying apart and that they don’t post much about each other on social media, it doesn’t mean that they have called it quits. Furthermore, the actor revealed the real reason behind why they have not been staying together and it’s far from what fans have been thinking.
In an interview with Bombay Times, Karan quashed all the breakup rumours and said, “First of all, Anusha and I don’t live together. We have our own pads and we stay together for a few days, whenever our schedules permit. I was shooting in Haryana and returned to Mumbai just before the lockdown was announced. I didn’t want to risk anyone else’s health and hence, chose to stay at my home. Just because we are living separately, people have assumed that we have parted ways. Let me tell you, we are still together.”

He further added, “The rumour could also have been fuelled by the fact that I haven’t posted much on my social media handles. Well, that’s because I am on a digital detox now.”
Karan also revealed that he doesn’t get affected by these rumours, but Anusha does as she is more emotional. He said, “I don’t get affected by these rumours, but Anusha does. She is more emotional and it was she who brought the break-up rumour to my notice. Arre, pehle hamein toh pata chalne do ki hamara break-up ho gaya hai.”
We are doing happy dance listening to Karan and Anusha still being a couple!
The duo had co-hosted the TV show MTV Love School, based on love and relationships. Not just partners in love, earlier this year, Anusha and Karan have even turned business partners with their own clothing label ‘Man Up! Woman Up!’.
