By now it is safe to say that spending even an hour without coming across the word ‘coronavirus’ seems to be the next impossible thing in our lives these days.  The government has shut down all the places of public gatherings like malls, theatres, parks and gyms in the country amid the spread of the virus. Due to the contagious nature of the disease, everyone is now stuck in their homes. Our favourite Bollywood celebrities are no exception to this rule. As the government encourages more social distancing, people from the film fraternity are trying to find ways to keep themselves fit at home as well as influence their followers towards fitness.

Katrina Kaif

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably know that Katrina Kaif is a fitness freak. The Bharat actor, with the help of her trainer, Yasmin Karachiwala, gave her fans a fitness crash course.  Katrina posted a series of workout videos which can be easily followed while being at home. From squats to pushups to mountain climbing, the takes 20-minute regime helps in increasing your immunity and releases endorphins.

Jacqueline Fernandez

Another fitness enthusiast celebrity, Jacqueline Fernandez was one of the first actors to share workout videos. With relaxing music playing in the background, she demonstrates the easiest yoga asanas and stretching exercises that anyone can do being home during this quarantine period.

The GenY actor, Sara Ali Khan shared her Tabata exercise video. Tabata training is a type of high-intensity interval training workout, which features exercises that last four minutes.
