Parineeti Chopra starrer Saina Nehwal Biopic to start rolling post Dussehra
After wrapping up her upcoming thriller The Girl On The Train in London last month, Parineeti Chopra is now all set to kick off her next, the Amole Gupte directed Saina Nehwal biopic post Dussehra on October 11. The actor who returned to the bay a few days back is leaving no stone unturned to hone her skills and look convincing as the ace shuttler.
Just days before the shoot begins, Saina took to Twitter to wish Parineeti and the rest of the team best of luck. Sharing a picture of Parineeti playing badminton, Saina wrote, “Looking forward to this journey together! My best wishes to the team.”
Parineeti has been playing badminton every day for two hours a day with the best coaches of the country at Khar Gymkhana. “I’ve put all my energies prepping for this role, something I’ve never done for the 10-12 films that I’ve worked in previously and in the process I have finally discovered the person I am and the actor. I’m really excited to start Saina. I think it will be a life-changing experience,” Parineeti said about her role, as quoted by Mumbai Mirror.
The Saina Nehwal biopic is being directed by Amole Gupte and in his recent interview with Mumbai Mirror, he shared some details about the first day’s shoot schedule and said, “I have netted a really good talent who has the acting prowess to play Saina. In the first scene, Parineeti as Saina will be answering questions from the fraternity, including journalists, students, and sports management people.”
When asked when they are planning to release the film, Gupte said, “I make films for a family audience and for that I need children to be free, be it the summer or Diwali vacation. While we have not locked a date, I’m focused to deliver the film by summer next year.”
Apart from Sania Nehwal Biopic and The Girl On The Train, Pari also has Sandeep Aur Pinky Farar with Arjun Kapoor in her kitty.
