Mrs Serial Killer: Jacqueline Fernandez and Manoj Bajpayee announce the release date via a cheezy video call
In these testing times when nothing seems right, television channels are banking upon the rerun of their popular old shows however OTT platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime are keeping the audience glued to their screens with original content. The OTT platform, Netflix has gone for an offbeat route to announce the release date of Mrs Serial Killer i.e. a video call with Jacqueline Fernandez and Manoj Bajpayee. Looking at the way it’s announced it is pretty relatable because it is what people are doing nowadays since they’re unable to meet anyone face-to-face.
In the video, Manoj can be seen talking to Jacqueline who is standing in front of a mirror, trying on different dresses. Jackky asks Manoj for his opinion to help her pick an outfit to wear as she is gearing up for the premiere. However, Manoj looks puzzled and reminds Jacqueline of the lockdown and asks why she is dressing up. She then tells him of getting fittings done for a world premiere, when asked of which premier by Manoj, she is left irked. She then threatens him using a dialogue from Manoj’s film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’: “Keh Ke Loongi” as Manoj bursts out laughing and reveals that she is talking about the world premiere of ‘Mrs Serial Killer’.

Looks like the makers are opting for a digital premiere on May 1st because large gatherings are a no-no. But that doesn’t mean the stars aren’t dressing up.
The Netflix original film is a thriller directed by Shirish Kunder and produced by Farah Khan. The flick also stars Mohit Raina in a pivotal role. The thriller revolves around a woman whose husband is framed and imprisoned for serial murders. In order to prove her husband innocent, the doting wife performs a murder exactly like the real killer.
The plot of the film sounds intriguing and we already can’t wait May 1sr to arrive. What about you guys? Let us know in the comments section below.
