Along with AB, Gulabo Sitabo also stars Ayushmann Khurrana and it marks his second collaboration with the director after Vicky Donor. This is the first time, however, the young actor will be sharing screen space with the Shehenshah of Bollywood.
A thrilled Ayushmann had shared earlier, “@amitabhbachchan sir aur meri Jodi, ekdum #GulaboSitabo si hogi Really excited to be a part of this project by my mentor @shoojitsircar!”
While details of the movie have been kept under wraps, it’s reportedly going to be a quirky family drama headlined by the two powerhouse performers. Sircar is also collaborating with his other favourite, writer Juhi Chaturvedi for this project.
Meanwhile, the 76-year-old actor has multiple projects in his kitty. He recently finished filming for Rumi Jaffrey’s Chehre and will also be seen in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra directed by Ayan Mukerji. Additionally, he is part of Sairat hitmaker Nagaraj Manjule’s upcoming sports based drama. It sure seems like a busy year for the megastar.
