Alaya F has this to say on being trolled for getting a lip job done
The gorgeous, Alaya F made her phenomenal Bollywood debut with Nitin Kakkar’s coming-of-age drama Jawaani Jaaneman alongside Saif Ali Khan and Tabu. The film lauded a lot of praise for her impressive performance from audiences and critics alike. However, with the power of social media and more access to celebrities than ever, when one enters the industry they have to be prepared for all the pros and cons that the industry offers and one among them is facing a lot of trolls.
During her recent appearance on Komal Nahta’s chat show Starry Nights Gen Y, Alaya opened up about her worst experience with trolling and said that people believe she got lip job done before appearing in films. Alaya slammed all such claims and said, “I have been getting these comments where people are like, ‘Oh, why did she get lip injections? She was beautiful before!’ I didn’t do anything! Right now, this is the most common one that I am getting and I don’t know why people think I got something done.”

When asked if trolling affects her, she said, “Little bit, yeah, because it’s also my first time doing this. It is always on my mind, which is why I actually say ‘um’ a lot. I was reading comments on YouTube and I saw people were like, ‘Why does she say um so much?’ I was like, ‘Because I am really thinking about what I am saying. I don’t want to say something stupid and then get trolled heavily for it.’ I would rather say um than something very stupid.”
Well, Alaya is yet to announce her next project, but there were reports that she was being considered for Stree Rog Vibhaag opposite Ayushmann Khurrana, however, the latest reports suggest that the makers have roped in Mrunal Thakur for the role. Nevertheless, there’s no official confirmation about the same. Jackky Bhagnani, who produced Jawaani Jaaneman under his banner Pooja Entertainment, has already signed Alaya for another film. She has also signed a three-film deal with Jay Shewakramani banner Northern Lights Films.
